Jamboree is brought to life by a passionate team of volunteers dedicated to supporting young people, creating unforgettable experiences, and ensuring a safe, inclusive environment for all.

Current Vacancies

Group Leaders

We are currently seeking Group Leaders to support groups of youth participants throughout the Jamboree experience.

Group Leaders play a key leadership role at Jamboree, supporting the safe, smooth, and positive experience of a large group of youth participants and leaders. Working as part of the Group Leader team, they coordinate communication, support unit leaders, uphold health and safety standards, and help deliver the Jamboree programme.

This role is best suited to experienced GirlGuiding leaders who enjoy working with teams and creating positive camp environments.

We are currently looking for two Group Leaders for the Guide section and one for the adult group.

What to Expect as a Volunteer 

All Jamboree volunteers can expect: 

  • Clear role descriptions and expectations 
  • Appropriate pre‑event training and briefings 
  • On‑site support and leadership structures 
  • A strong focus on safety, wellbeing, and inclusion

 

All volunteers must meet relevant screening, training and safety requirements and will be police vetted.
