Awa2027 Health, Safety and Welfare Information Evening
A huge thank you to everyone who attended our recent Awa2027 Health, Safety and Welfare information evening. It was great to see so many members, parents, caregivers and leaders joining us to learn more about how we can support you.

Awa2027 and MiniJam are now open to friends!
Guides and Rangers who are attending Jamboree can now invite a friend to join them, even if they aren’t currently a GirlGuiding New Zealand member.
MiniJam is also open to non-members, giving more Pippins and Brownies-aged tamariki the chance to experience a day of Jamboree fun.
It’s the perfect chance to share the Awa2027 adventure with a friend and make some amazing memories together!

Registrations for MiniJam are now open!
Pippins and Brownies can now join us at Awa2027 for one or more action-packed days of activities, adventure and Jamboree fun at Mystery Creek.
With five differently themed days to choose from, you can pick your favourite or come along for multiple days. MiniJam is also open to non-GirlGuiding New Zealand members, so friends can join in the fun too!

Awa2027 Registrations Open 22 May
Exciting news! Registrations for Awa2027 officially open on Friday 22 May 2026!
GGNZ members will receive a registration link directly via email around 4pm once registrations go live. The registration link will also be available on our website for other adults and international visitors interested in attending Awa2027.
We encourage anyone interested in attending Awa2027 to register early and keep an eye out for further updates and announcements over the coming months.
We can’t wait to see everyone come together for an incredible Jamboree experience!

Jamboree 2027 Information Sessions Now Open
We’re excited to be hosting a series of online information sessions for those interested in attending Awa2027. These sessions are a great opportunity to learn more about the event, what to expect and how to get involved.
Parents/Caregivers and Youth:
- 7pm to 8pm on Wednesday 29 April 2026 – Register here
- 4pm to 5pm on Sunday 3 May 2026 – Register here
Leaders:
- 8pm to 9pm on Tuesday 28 April 2026 – Register here
- 7.30pm to 8.30pm on Sunday 3 May 2026 – Register here
