Payment, Cancellation and Refund Procedure

Awa2027 will endeavor to provide a transparent and supportive process, and we acknowledge that circumstances may change. Requests for refunds must be made in writing by email to jamboree@ggnz.org.nz and will be considered according to the information below.


Payments

The Awa2027 New Zealand Jamboree will accept payments via credit card (Visa or Mastercard) using Stripe and via bank transfer. A secure payment gateway is incorporated into Stripe. Full payment is welcome at any stage from the date that registrations open. We are using the EventsAir platform to manage registrations. Reminder emails will be sent to participants via this platform when payments are due.

Payment for specific activities (if required) will be added to the participant’s invoice total after they have been confirmed as allocated to the specific activity. This payment will generally be due by 12 October 2026. In some circumstances, these payments may be required AFTER the due date depending on the activity provider. Participants will be notified if the due date is later than 12 October 2026.

Note 1: Full payment for the Event must be made prior to participants being confirmed and allocated to activities.

Note 2: Jamboree payments DO NOT include the cost of participants’ individual travel to or from the allocated pick up/drop off zones.

Note 3: The Jamboree fee includes but is not limited to the following:

Jamboree programmed activities required as part of the program (unless stated otherwise)

· All catering during the event

· Accommodation during the event

· All transport from arrival at allocated arrival zone and to allocated departure zone

· Jamboree shirt, hat and badge


Refunds/Cancellations

Withdrawal after 21 June 2026 and on or before 1 September 2026 – refund of full amount paid less $500 deposit.

Withdrawal after 1 September 2026 – no refund provided.


Extenuating Circumstances

Consideration will be given to written requests for a refund after this date in extenuating circumstances only. Consideration of such a request is at the discretion of GirlGuiding New Zealand and does not guarantee that any refund will be provided.
