MiniJam!

Awa2027 isn't just for Guides and Rangers. Pippins and Brownies are invited to join in the fun through MiniJam – our dedicated day programme created especially for younger members.

Registrations will open Monday 20th July 2026.

Each themed day has been designed to inspire curiosity, creativity, confidence and friendship through a range of exciting, age-appropriate activities.

Whether your child loves science, adventure, nature, crafting, or games there's something for everyone.

You can register for one or multiple days! Every day is a standalone programme, so you can choose the days that best suit your interests and schedule.

Programme Information

Dates: Friday 15 January – Tuesday 19 January 2027

Location: Mystery Creek Events Centre

Time: 10:00 am – 4:00 pm each day

Cost: $115 per day for youth, $20 per day for adults supporting youth.

Deposit: $34.50 per day (due 7 days after registering). The remaining fee is due 12th October.

Register for one day or multiple days.

Please bring a packed lunch, drink bottle, covered shoes and weather-appropriate clothing each day.

Additional information, including arrival details and any activity-specific requirements, will be sent to registered families before the programme begins.

Please note that activities may vary slightly as planning is finalised.

Friday 15th January – The Sparking Stream

Put on your thinking caps and get ready to innovate! Today, we are exploring the currents of science, technology, and clever creations. From mind-boggling experiments to hands-on building, you'll get to test, tinker, and discover how things work. Let’s see where our imagination takes us!

Saturday 16th January – Splash into Adventure

Gear up for a day of high-energy exploration! We are diving headfirst into action with outdoor challenges that will test your skills, build your confidence, and get your heart racing. Whether we are moving fast or conquering new heights, this day is all about the thrill of the great outdoors. Are you ready to make a splash?

Sunday 17th January – Nature's Ripple

Step into a whimsical world where nature comes alive! Today, we are following the gentle, twisting currents of camp magic to discover the wonderful creatures and green secrets hidden all around us. This day is packed with outdoor mystery, furry encounters, and a touch of natural wonder where you'll get to create, discover, and play. Bring your curiosity and see what wild surprises are waiting for you!

Monday 18th January – The Creative Current

Let your creativity ripple out! Today is all about expressing yourself through colour, imagination, and crafting. We will ride the creative current to make something beautiful, celebrate our journey together, and see where our bright ideas take us next!

  • Boat building and testing

  • Keychain making

Tuesday 19th January – The Whirlpool of Fun

Jump into a swirling whirlpool of laughter, giggles, and non-stop play! Today, we are diving into a high-energy celebration of music, camp magic, and ultimate fun. This day is all about teaming up for lively games, tackling giant challenges with your friends, and moving to the beat of our own rhythm. Bring your biggest smile, your loudest cheers, and your best team spirit as we ride a wave of pure, friendly competition together!

  • Museum scavenger hunt
  • Team challenges

  • Inflatable activities (subject to confirmation)
